When you arrive on the Caribbean Island of Jost Van Dyke in the BVI, there are three main areas. The port or main part of town consists of 3-4 restaurants, depending on the season. From the dock, turn right and look left. This older orange colored building is home to some of the best empanadas we have ever tasted! When you walk in, she has pans lined up and everyone is made by hand…Delicious!
Toward the eastern side of the island, you have three main attractions, Foxy’s with the most beautiful breathtaking views of the BVI. A cold Carib (Local Beer), maybe a pizza and jam to the tunes the locals are playing. A short walk behind the bar is the entrance to a trail, it leads you to a little spot called the Bubbly Pool!
On Little Jost is a small yellow building called the B-Line bar. It's simple, you ask the bartender at Foxy’s to call and give you a lift over. In a small zodiac, they will send someone over to pick you up and bring you to the edge of paradise. A simple bar, on an island, with cold drinks, and great snorkeling!
